HART: Combined Intersection Upgrades Project Survey
The City of Whitehorse and Government of Yukon are working together on a joint initiative to improve the Hamilton Boulevard / Two Mile Hill Road & Alaska Highway, and Range Road & Two Mile Hill Road intersections. The project, known as HART: Combined Intersection Upgrades, involves the development of design options for both intersections that address traffic and road safety issues for all road users, including people walking, biking, driving, and riding transit.
The goals for this project include:
- Accessibility: prioritizing access for all ages, abilities, and incomes
- Road safety: prioritizing safety for all road users
- Traffic: ensuring the safe and efficient flow of people and goods
- Sustainability: encouraging mode share towards transit an active transportation
- Equity and Inclusion: advancing outcomes for equity-deserving groups
- Winter Cities Design: planning for all seasons (especially winter) and minimizing winter maintenance
We want your input on the issues and opportunities along this corridor. This survey will support the development of design options that meet the City of Whitehorse and Government of Yukon’s goals and objectives. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and will be available until July 5 at 11:59 pm.
